Thomas P. DeJong has practiced law for over 15 years and utilizes his diverse background to provide counsel to private companies and entrepreneurs on business-entity structures, corporate governance, raising capital and securities law. Thomas primarily assists RRSL clients with forming corporate entities, drafting their governance documents and executing various types of private securities offerings from the production of the offering documents through filing and qualification by the SEC. Thomas P. DeJong, Esq. received his J.D. cum laude from Rutgers Law School – Camden where he focused upon corporate and securities law and he is a member of the bar in Colorado, New York and Pennsylvania. 

Before joining Red Rock Securities Law, Thomas was a solo practitioner assisting a range of clients with their diverse legal needs including small business counseling, real estate transactions, landlord-tenant issues and other civil matters. Thomas also possessed an employing-level real estate broker’s license in Colorado where he was able to leverage his legal and professional background as well as personal experiences to both advance and protect his client’s interests.

Prior to his beginning his legal career, Thomas received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and started his career in the field of environmental consulting implementing hazardous material audit, investigation and remediation projects throughout the U.S. Thomas proceeded to earn an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he focused his interests on corporate finance and entrepreneurship and thereafter co-founded, managed and operated a corporation providing home design and improvement products and services from multiple retail locations before entering law school to enhance and expand upon his practical business experiences.
