Brian Geoghegan has practiced law for 15 years with a focus on providing legal counsel to private companies and entrepreneurs. Brian has a specific focus on securities and business law. Brian has significant experience in the preparation of SEC exempt private securities offerings. Brian received his J.D. from University of Colorado School of Law, and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Law, with honors. He worked seven years in Boulder, Colorado at a boutique law firm serving start-up companies exclusively, and most recently at his own law firm in Golden, Colorado. Prior to his legal career, Brian worked in a variety of government, nonprofit and start-up positions that focused on bringing Internet access and other telecommunications technologies to rural communities and schools, nonprofits, and economic development initiatives.
