The U.S. IPO market is showing clear signs of revival in 2025, with a notable surge in both volume and capital raised. In the first half of the year, a total of 168 IPOs—including SPACs—raised $28.9 billion, a sharp increase from just 94 IPOs during the same period in 2024 (S&P Global).
When excluding SPACs, 102 traditional IPOs accounted for $16.5 billion in proceeds, marking a return to levels last seen in 2018.
Momentum picked up significantly in Q2 2025, with 59 IPOs raising $15.02 billion, up from 45 IPOs and $11.23 billion in Q1. Although the number of IPOs in Q2 rose 16% year-over-year compared to Q2 2024, total proceeds were down 20%, with 50 IPOs raising $8.1 billion.
These figures reflect growing investor appetite for new public offerings, especially in the tech and crypto sectors, despite broader market uncertainties.
Our Firm is also seeing a strong revival in private offering issuances under Regulation A, Regulation CF and Regulation D.
